India won 111 medals in the recently concluded Asian Para Games

Recently the Asian Para Games were held in Hangzhou, China.
India won a total of 111 medals in this game.
These 111 medals include 29 gold, 31 silver and 51 bronze medals.
With these 111 medals, India stood at 5th position in the medal table.
India had won 78 medals in the 2018 Para Asian Games.
Indian archer Sheetal Devi became the first Indian woman to win two gold medals in the sport.
China topped the medal table by winning a total of 521 medals including 214 gold, 167 silver and 140 bronze.
Iran stood second with 131 medals and Japan stood third with 150 medals.
In terms of total number of medals, Iran may have won less medals than Japan but its gold medals were more than Japan's, hence it remained above Japan.
South Korea finished fourth with 103 medals.
India won the most medals in athletics events.
The Para Asian Markets of the year 2026 will be held in Nagoya, Japan.
