Indian para-athletes returned from Bahrain with a record-breaking 41 medals in their best-ever performance at the Asian Youth Para Games.
The Indian team won 12 gold medals, 15 silver medals, and 14 bronze medals at the continental para youth games in Riffa city.
India won the most medals in athletics, with 22 athletes placing on the podium, including eight gold medalists, six silver medalists, and eight bronze medalists.
The Indian para shuttlers returned with 15 medals, including three medals each from Tokyo Paralympian Palak Kohli, Sanjana Kumari, and Hardik Makkar.
