  • It has recently been announced by the Indian Prime Minister that India will send humans to the Moon by the year 2040.
  • Before this, India will establish a space station by the year 2035.
  • The Prime Minister has instructed the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) to complete these missions.
  • The Space Department will prepare a comprehensive plan for exploration work on the Moon.
  • Under this, many Chandrayaan missions will be launched, a new generation launch vehicle will be developed.
  • A new launch platform will be constructed and human-centric laboratories will be established and related technologies will be developed.
