India has welcomed the U.S. decision to label The Resistance Front (TRF), a proxy of Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba, as a Foreign Terrorist Organization and Global Terrorist entity. The TRF has been linked to several terrorist activities, including attacks on civilians in Jammu and Kashmir. External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar commended the U.S. action, emphasizing it as a reflection of the strong India-U.S. partnership in combating terrorism and reaffirming India’s zero-tolerance approach.
