India to host T20 Asia Cup in 2025

India will host the 2025 men's Asia Cup in T20 format, serving as a precursor to the T20 World Cup scheduled in India for 2026.
The 2027 Asia Cup will be held in ODI format in Bangladesh, aligning with the 50-over World Cup scheduled in South Africa that same year.
The Men's Asia Cup is a biennial event organized by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC), featuring teams from Afghanistan, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and one non-Test playing ACC member selected through qualifying events.
