India will host the first World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES) in Goa from 20-24 November 2024, alongside the 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI).
Union Minister Ashwani Vaishnaw announced the summit, emphasizing the government's commitment to making India a global content creation hub by fostering a supportive ecosystem for high-quality content and strong intellectual property rights.
The 55th IFFI, organized by the National Film Development Corporation of India Ltd (NFDC) in collaboration with the State Government of Goa and the Indian Film Industry, will take place from 20-28 November 2024.
