India plans to set up an 'India space station' by 2035 and a landing of an Indian astronaut on the moon by 2040.
Union Minister Jitendra Singh informed about the Gaganyaan mission, under which India will send an astronaut to space in 2026, an effort that has the ambition to establish leadership in global science and technology.
