The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the ICC Player of the Month awards for January 2023.
India opener Shubman Gill has won the ‘ICC Men's Player of the Month’ for January.
He has been voted ahead of New Zealand’s Devon Conway and compatriot Mohammed Siraj.
This is the first time that Gill has won the ICC Player of the Moth award following another fine series of performances in ODI cricket.
While in women’s category England's Grace Scrivens became the youngest recipient of the ICC Women's Player of the Month award after starring in the first-ever ICC U19 Women's T20 World Cup.
