On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties, India and Singapore organized the business session ‘India-Singapore @60: Partnership for Growth and Engagement’ in Singapore. Union Minister Piyush Goyal and Singapore’s Minister Gan Siow Huang highlighted the strong economic, technological, and people-to-people relations between the two nations. The session focused on new opportunities for cooperation in energy, digitalization, skill development, healthcare, infrastructure, and green technology. Global companies and investors also showed interest in potential projects in India. A meeting with Singapore President Tharman Shanmugaratnam reaffirmed the long-term strategic partnership between the two countries.
