Under the Defence Acquisition Council (headed by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh), India approved ten proposals totaling about ₹1.05 lakh crore for indigenously sourced missiles and electronic warfare systems. India’s domestic defence production now stands at an all‑time high of ₹1.46 lakh crore, with exports reaching ₹24,000 crore in FY 2024–25.
