  • In Tennis, Indian Rohan Bopanna and Matthew Ebden of Australia have won the Indian Wells doubles title in California, United States. 
  • The unseeded team of Bopanna and Ebden defeated top-seeded pair of Dutch players Wesley Koolhof and Neal Skupski from Great Britain 6-3, 2-6, 10-8.
  • Bopanna, who turned 43 on March 4, surpassed his former partner Daniel Nestor to become the oldest ATP Masters 1000 finalist and then broke the Canadian's record by becoming the oldest ATP Masters 1000 champion.
  • Ebden, who won Wimbledon with fellow Australian Max Purcell in 2022, won his ninth tour-level title and first at the ATP Masters 1000 level.
  • It was the 43-year-old’s fifth Masters 1000 doubles title and first since he won in Monte Carlo in 2017. 
  • This was the third final of the year for the Indo-Australian duo. He now holds 24 tour-level trophies in his cabinet.
