Pramod Bhagat, Tokyo 2020 Paralympic gold medallist in men's singles SL3 category, has been suspended by the Badminton World Federation for 18 months due to three whereabouts failures within 12 months, leading to his exclusion from the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
Bhagat's appeal against the suspension to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) was dismissed in July 2024, upholding the decision of the Badminton World Federation.
