India has announced the establishment of four advanced quantum fabrication facilities worth ₹720 crore at IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, IIT Kanpur and IISc Bengaluru to boost its quantum technology leadership. These centres will focus on quantum sensing, quantum computing and quantum materials, offering access to researchers, industries and startups. The initiative will strengthen technological self-reliance, promote indigenous innovation and train a new generation of quantum hardware specialists.
