The innovative e-governance application “Meri Panchayat” has received the prestigious WSIS 2025 Champion Award in Geneva, Switzerland. The award was conferred under the WSIS Action Line for Cultural and Linguistic Diversity and Local Content. The accolade was presented at the WSIS+20 High-Level Event 2025, organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), recognizing the app’s significant contribution to promoting inclusive digital governance at the grassroots level.
