Damoh is a district located in Madhya Pradesh.
According to the recent announcement, India's largest tiger reserve will be established in Damoh.
The central government has issued a notification approving the proposal to merge the Noradehi sanctuary with the Rani Durgavati sanctuary in Damoh district.
With this, a huge tiger sanctuary spread over 2,300 square kilometers will be created.
This reserve will be centered around the Jabera area of Damoh district and is expected to boost tourism and development in the area.
Damoh district of Bundelkhand is included in the backward areas but due to this Tiger Reserve, the possibilities of development will increase.
