  • For his victory on Wednesday in Singapore, Gukesh earned a whopping Rs 1.68 crore paycheque as per the regulations in place for the World Chess Championship 2024, as decided by the global governing body of chess, FIDE.
  • This means that Ding will also receive $200,000 for his victory in Game 1 over Gukesh.
