International Cooperative Museum (ICM) India's first museum dedicated to cooperatives is going to open located in Kozhikode, Kerala.
The museum is housed in a 14-storey building, making it a prominent landmark in the heart of Kozhikode.
The museum aims to showcase the history, success, and achievements of India's cooperative movement, with a particular focus on Kerala. It will highlight prominent cooperative brands like Amul, Indian Coffee House, IFFCO, and Kerala Dinesh Beedi.
Incorporating the latest technology such as artificial intelligence and virtual reality, the museum plans to offer interactive displays for visitors, enhancing their learning experience.
The project has received support from international organizations like the International Cooperative Alliance, and cooperatives in Europe and Japan, to make it a comprehensive showcase of cooperative movements worldwide.
