India’s first Biosafety level-3 containment mobile laboratory has been launched in Nashik.
This mobile lab has been inaugurated by Union Minister of State for Health Dr. Bharti Pawar.
The mobile laboratory provides a public health solution to this problem. It can be simply driven around to various locations, just like a normal bus.
This mobile lab, costing 25 crores, has been developed jointly by the Indian Council of Medical Research and Mumbai-based bio-safety device manufacturer Klenzaids.
