India reached a major digital milestone in November 2025 as its broadband subscriber base surpassed 1 billion (100 crore) users. The achievement highlights the country’s rapid expansion in digital connectivity driven by sustained policy efforts. Over the past decade, broadband subscriptions have grown more than sixfold—from 131.49 million (13.15 crore) in November 2015 to 1 billion (100.37 crore) by November 2025.
