Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh highlighted that India has around 10,000 biotechnology startups, contributing to a $165 billion bioeconomy, and is gaining global recognition in space and biotechnology.
Dr. Singh launched the India BioEconomy Report 2025 and the Bio-Sarthi initiative, which aims to provide global mentoring for biotech startups and enhance India's role in biotech innovation and economic growth.
