  • India and Vietnam have signed $300 million loan agreements, which will help the Southeast Asian country start and complete its maritime projects.
  • Vietnam Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, who was on an official visit to India, was accompanied by a delegation of ministers for a bilateral visit.
  • The two countries agreed to enhance defense cooperation, based on mutual interests and priorities, cooperation in human resource development, peacekeeping operations, hydrographic surveys, cyber security, information sharing, strategic research, maritime security, and search and rescue operations.
