To strengthen India’s defense capabilities, Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Russia's state-owned arms export company, Rosoboronexport (ROE). This MoU facilitates collaboration on various versions of the advanced Pantsir air defense missile-gun system.
The MoU was signed at the 5th India-Russia Inter-Governmental Commission (IRIGC) Subgroup Meeting held in Goa.
The Pantsir system, integrates missiles and 30 mm guns, can target aircraft up to 15 km altitude and is designed to protect military and industrial facilities.
