  • India was re-elected unopposed as the President of the International Solar Alliance (ISA) for a two-year term (2024-2026) at the Seventh ISA Assembly held in New Delhi, with France elected as Co-President, and regional Vice Presidents from Africa, Asia-Pacific, Europe & Others, and Latin America and the Caribbean appointed.
  • Ashish Khanna of India was appointed as the third Director General of the International Solar Alliance for a four-year term, succeeding Dr. Ajay Mathur, to lead the ISA Secretariat in advancing global solar energy adoption.
