  • In terms of unicorn companies, India has surpassed the United Kingdom to take third place.
  • According to Hurun Research Institute data, 33 startup unicorns were created in India between January and November of this year. With this, the country's unicorn population has increased to 54.
  • Unicorns are firms with a market capitalization of one billion dollars or more.
  • According to the survey, America (487) is the first unicorn in the world, followed by China (301).
  • Byju's, an ed-tech startup, is India's most valuable unicorn. InMobi is ranked second, Oyo is third, and Razorpay is fourth.
  • Bangalore has the most unicorns out of all the Indian cities.
