The Global Remote Work Index was released by European cyber security company Nordlayer in October 2023.
A total of 108 countries have been ranked in this index.
India's rank among these 108 countries is 64th.
India's rank has seen a decline of 15 places compared to its rank in the year 2022.
India was ranked 49th in 2022.
The company attributed India's decline in rank to the low level of digital and physical infrastructure in India.
This index is prepared on the basis of 4 indicators.
In this index, Denmark is first, Netherlands is second, Germany is third and Spain is fourth.
No Asian country is included in the top 10.
