The UNESCO Mondiacult 2025 concluded in Barcelona with cultural performances, youth forum presentations, civil society interventions, and adoption of the outcome document. Delegates from over 150 countries, including 150+ culture ministers, participated. The theme, “Unleashing the power of culture to achieve sustainable development”, focused on cultural rights, digital culture, education, cultural economy, climate change, and heritage protection. India was represented by Ms. Amita Prasad Sarabhai on behalf of Culture Minister Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Asia-Pacific Co-Chair.
