  • India has launched its first CO2-to-Methanol pilot plant in Pune with a capacity of 1.4 TPD, developed through a collaboration between IIT Delhi and Thermax Limited, supported by the Department of Science and Technology, aiming to enhance Carbon Capture and Utilisation (CCU) technologies and promote methanol-blended diesel to reduce crude oil imports.
