India and Kuwait signed an agreement to establish a Joint Cooperation Commission (JCC) at the level of foreign ministers, with the establishment of new joint working groups in areas such as trade, investment, education, technology, security and culture.
The JCC will oversee the overall functioning of bilateral relations between the two countries and look after the existing areas such as hydrocarbons, health, consular matters.
