India and Israel signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on defence cooperation during the 17th Joint Working Group (JWG) meeting in Tel Aviv. The pact aims to deepen strategic ties through co-development, co-production and advanced technology sharing in areas like AI, cyber security, Research & Develpment and defence innovation. The meeting was led by Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh and Maj Gen (Res) Amir Baram of Israel. Both nations reaffirmed their commitment to counterterrorism and industrial collaboration, marking a major step in advancing defence and technological cooperation.
