India invited as theme country of 'Madrid International Book Fair 2025

India has been invited as the theme country for the 'Madrid International Book Fair' to be held in 2025.
Spain has been invited as the theme country for the 46th International Kolkata Book Fair, which began on Monday.
Ambassador of Spain to india Jose Maria Ridao said It is usually for publishers only. But, we can expand the horizon, to include cinema and music as well.
The envoy also said editions of the prestigious Jaipur Literary Festival will be held in Madrid and another Spanish town later this year.
Jaipur Literary Festival has had its editions in the UK and the US, but this will be the first time it will be celebrated in a non-English speaking country.
