India topped the medal tally at the Under 23 Asian Wrestling Championship 2024 held in Amman, Jordan, with a total of eight medals in freestyle wrestling, including four gold, two silver, and two bronze medals.
Abhimanyu (70 kg), Jointy Kumar (92 kg), Sahil Jaglan (97 kg), and Anirudh Kumar (125 kg) secured the gold medals for India in their respective weight categories.
This performance marks an all-time best for India at this championship, showcasing the strength and talent of young Indian wrestlers on the international stage.
