  • The Indian men's hockey team won the bronze medal in the Asian Champions Trophy after beating their neighbors Pakistan 4-3 in the third-place play-off match.
  • This is India's fifth medal in the Asian Champions Trophy, and their first bronze.
  • India had won three gold and one silver medal before this bronze.
  • The Indian team won gold medals in 2011, 2016, and 2018. At the same time, in this championship, the Indian team has got a silver medal in 2012.
  • As a result, India becomes the first country to win all three medals at the tournament: gold, silver, and bronze.
