The Indian men's hockey team won the bronze medal in the Asian Champions Trophy after beating their neighbors Pakistan 4-3 in the third-place play-off match.
This is India's fifth medal in the Asian Champions Trophy, and their first bronze.
India had won three gold and one silver medal before this bronze.
The Indian team won gold medals in 2011, 2016, and 2018. At the same time, in this championship, the Indian team has got a silver medal in 2012.
As a result, India becomes the first country to win all three medals at the tournament: gold, silver, and bronze.
