  • India and Russia have signed a long-term memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the supply of DAP (Di-Ammonium Phosphate) fertiliser.
  • This Memorandum of Understanding was signed to ensure the supply of DAP Fertilizer at stable prices. Furthermore, reliance on countries such as Jordan, Morocco, and China can be reduced.
  • Di-ammonium phosphate (DAP) fertiliser is the most widely used fertiliser in the country after urea.
