  • India and Namibia have agreed to strengthen bilateral cooperation in areas such as defence, critical minerals, agriculture, health, and Digital Public Infrastructure. The decision was taken during the fifth round of Foreign Office Consultations held on January 19–20.
  • The talks were co-chaired by India’s Joint Secretary (East & Southern Africa) Janesh Kain and Namibia’s Ambassador Charles Josob, representing the Ministry of International Relations and Trade.
