Recently, India and the Kyrgyz Republic agreed to enhance cooperation on counterterrorism, radicalisation, extremism and drug trafficking. The meeting in Bishkek was attended by India’s NSA Ajit Doval and Kyrgyz Security Secretary Lt. Gen. Baktybek Bekbolotov. Discussions focused on defense cooperation, cybersecurity, regional security challenges and coordination via platforms like the SCO. This marks India’s commitment to being a reliable partner for stability and security in Central Asia.
