  • Recently India and France have signed an MoU for cooperation in the digital technology sector.
  • This agreement has been approved by the Union Cabinet.
  • The objective of this MoU is to promote closer cooperation and exchange of information related to digital technologies.
  • Its provisions are to mutually support the goal of each partner to encourage access to digital technology in its country.
  • This agreement will last for 5 years from the date of its implementation.
