India has secured 39th position in the ranking of 119 countries in the World Economic Forum's Travel and Tourism Development Index 2024.
India has strengthened its position due to better infrastructure and favorable government policies.
In 2021, India was ranked 54th but it was adjusted to 38th position under the new methodology.
