Geoff Allardice of Australia has been named permanent CEO of the International Cricket Council, after serving in the position on an interim basis for more than eight months.
Allardyce will succeed Manu Sawhney, who resigned from his post in July.
Allardice, a former Australian first-class cricketer, and administrator, was the ICC general manager, cricket, for eight years.
