Grinson George, former head of the Marine Biodiversity and Environment Management Division at the Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI) has assumed charge as Director of the CMFRI here.
He has also held the position of Senior Programme Specialist at the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation in Dhaka.
Dr. George has led significant research projects with support from various agencies, including the Ministry of Earth Sciences and Indian Space Research Organisation.

ICAR-CMFRI appoints Dr Grinson George as Director
