Japan’s Honda Motor Company Ltd. has officially launched its new subsidiary, Honda Finance India Private Ltd., which will provide retail financing services to customers in the Indian market. The company aims to offer loans, lease options, and other sales financing schemes specifically for Honda products in India. To carry out these operations, the newly established entity will apply for a Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) licence in India, enabling it to function as a regulated financial services provider.
