President of India has approved 43 names for the Jeevan Raksha Padak Series Award-2022.
This includes seven Sarvottam Jeevan Raksha Padaks, eight Uttam Jeevan Raksha Padaks and 28 Jeevan Raksha Padaks.
Four people have been given this award posthumously.
President Draupadi Murmu awarded Jeevan Raksha Medals to Railway Police Force (RPF) and Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF) personnel Jaipal Singh, Surendra Kumar and Constable Buddha Saini.
Head Constable Jaipal Singh and Constable Surendra Kumar are posted in Northern Railway.
At the same time, Constable Buddha Saini is posted in the 7th Battalion of the Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF).
Jeevan Raksha Padak series of awards are given to an individual for a meritorious act in saving the life of a person.
The award is given in three categories namely Sarvottam Jeevan Raksha Padak, Uttam Jeevan Raksha Padak and Jeevan Raksha Padak.
