  • President of India has approved 43 names for the Jeevan Raksha Padak Series Award-2022. 
  • This includes seven Sarvottam Jeevan Raksha Padaks, eight Uttam Jeevan Raksha Padaks and 28 Jeevan Raksha Padaks. 
  • Four people have been given this award posthumously.
  • President Draupadi Murmu awarded Jeevan Raksha Medals to Railway Police Force (RPF) and Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF) personnel Jaipal Singh, Surendra Kumar and Constable Buddha Saini. 
  • Head Constable Jaipal Singh and Constable Surendra Kumar are posted in Northern Railway. 
  • At the same time, Constable Buddha Saini is posted in the 7th Battalion of the Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF).
  • Jeevan Raksha Padak series of awards are given to an individual for a meritorious act in saving the life of a person.
  • The award is given in three categories namely Sarvottam Jeevan Raksha Padak, Uttam Jeevan Raksha Padak and Jeevan Raksha Padak.
