Veteran Author Malti Joshi Passes Away at 90, a revered figure in the literary world and recipient of the prestigious Padma Shri award, passed away at the age of 90 on 15 May 2024 after a battle with cancer.
Joshi, who also wrote in Marathi, had received the Padma Shri in 2018.
Kokh Ka Darp, Outsider, Aastha Ke Aayam and Problem Child are among her representative stories.
One of her works, Culture, was filmed by Gulzar for the television serial, Kirdaar.
