  • On this occasion, ten personalities including well-known actresses of Hindi cinema Saira Banu and Hema Malini were given Pt. Lachhu Maharaj will be honored.
  • The award ceremony is scheduled to take place on August 31, 2024, in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. It will be organized under the chairmanship of Prof. Mandvi Singh, Vice Chancellor of Bhatkhande University of Music and Performing Arts.
  • The Lachhu Maharaj Award will honour ten eminent personalities for their outstanding contribution in the field of dance and performing arts.
  • The recipient honored with the Lachhu Maharaj Puraskar 2024 is Pandit Rajendra Gangani.
