Haryana recorded its highest sex ratio at birth (SRB) in five years in 2025, reaching 923—an improvement of 13 points from 910 in 2024. Official data shows that the state registered 5,19,691 births in 2025, comprising 2,70,281 male and 2,49,410 female births. The last time Haryana achieved a similar SRB of 923 was in 2019.
