  • Haryana has launched "Savera" programme for identification and prevention of successor in-patient breast cancer.
  • The objective of this program is breast cancer screening by visually impaired women, which can play an important role in timely detection of breast cancer.
  • The successful performance of "Saveyra" programme will be a guide for comprehensive implementation in Haryana.
  • Along with Savera, Haryana has also established a National Cancer Institute at Indian Institute of Medical Sciences, Jhajjar.
  • This program will significantly improve the health security of women in the state of Haryana.
