Recently, top States/UTs and Ministries were awarded for 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' and 'Meri Mati Mera Desh' programmes.
Under both these programmes, Gujarat has achieved the top position among the states of the country.
Haryana and Rajasthan are the joint second ranked states.
Jammu and Kashmir ranks first among the Union Territories.
The first place among the ministries is that of the Ministry of External Affairs.
Defense Ministry is in second place.
Railway Ministry and Education Ministry are jointly at third place.
These winners have been jointly awarded by the Prime Minister.
This award was presented by the Prime Minister on the duty path in New Delhi.
