·        The next Defense Expo will be organized by Gujarat in 2022.

·        Chief Minister Vijay Rupani announced this.

·        A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the Department of Defense Production and the Government of Gujarat in this regard.

·        Around 100 countries are expected to participate in this biennial event.

About the Defence Expo-2022:

v Defence Expo-2022 will be held in Gandhinagar from 10th to 13th March next year.

v The aim: To move from Make in India to make for the world.

v The Defence Expo-2022 will focus on making India a Defence manufacturing hub.
