Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel reshuffled his cabinet, inducting 19 new ministers and retaining six. Harsh Sanghavi was appointed Deputy CM, and Rivaba Jadeja, wife of cricketer Ravindra Jadeja, became Minister of State for Education. The 26-member cabinet, sworn in by Governor Acharya Devvrat, balances experience with fresh leadership, enhances youth and women representation, and ensures regional diversity. The reshuffle is viewed as a strategic move ahead of 2027 Assembly elections, guided by PM Narendra Modi and HM Amit Shah.
