Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla, India’s first astronaut to reach the International Space Station in July 2025 as part of the Axiom-4 mission, has been appointed brand ambassador of the nationwide Viksit Bharat Buildathon. Led by the Ministry of Education, the initiative engages students from classes 6–12, promoting innovation, scientific temper and ambition. Shukla’s historic space achievement serves as an inspiration to young learners as India advances its journey in science, technology, and global leadership.
