  • In an important step to bridge the digital divide in rural India, the government is going to launch the Digital India Common Service Center (DICSC) project.
  • Digital India Common Service Centre (DICSC) project, launched by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), aims to reduce the digital divide in rural India by setting up 4,740 centers across 10 districts, starting with Pilibhit and Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh.
